John is a man of many faces: whether it’s a fearless leader, a pioneer in the film industry or a champion of employers’ rights. A veteran in the production industry, he founded Sheng Productions as an agency with more freedom to work with brands and less time spent on bureaucracy. Creating brand campaigns, creating award winning content, and creating jobs, his creativity knows no bounds.

After hours, you’ll find John in the office because there are no after hours, only billable ones. He enjoys spending his time immersing himself in the indie film community and collaborating with other filmmakers. Whether it’s to steal their secrets or gauge the competition, we will never know.

Words like “stagnant” or “unimaginative” can’t be found in John’s vocabulary – he only sees opportunity or potential. An auteur of corporate filmmaking and a savant of school videos, educating your audience is his bread and butter.

Nathan is a natural born producer with imposter syndrome, a traditionally trained teacher who hopped industries for the glitz and glam of filmmaking. Although this didn’t impress family members, it did impress those in the industry, with his obsession with curating shooting schedules and tackling pre-production problems with swift solutions and a strongly-worded email or two.

In his free time, he enjoys contemplating his longevity in the industry and long walks from the couch to the kitchen table. He also loves to write and is considered quite a strong writer, especially since he wrote the very words you’re reading.

In an industry where creativity runs rampant and everyone has an idea, it’s good to have a Watson to your Sherlock – a humble wingman who shares the eureka moment you take credit for.

Prince is a man of pure creative drive and talent, and we at Sheng Productions do everything we can to keep him that way. An artist in both mind and soul, he makes even our stoic founder John Shea tremble with his work. Having been a 5-time Sheng Oscar Award winner, you’ll find his handiwork in all your favourite
videos in our portfolio.

In-between work and sleep, you’ll find him on the basketball court, out cycling in nature or spending quality time away from our producer Nathan.

If the founder is the spark, then Prince is the flame. He can either light the way for our leader to see, or burn it all down on a whim. Needless to say, he is the flames at our heels keeping us running to the fire door of success.
